We did the Lighthouse Trail hike at Palo Duro Canyon and it was legit!
It started out a little cloudy but cleared up throughout our hike! Thanks to the morning rain though, we got to see a great rainbow!
The hike is 6 miles round-trip so we started at 7 am (when the park opens) so that it would be as cool as possible.
We each took a camel back and hats to keep us cool and hydrated and we were finished in a couple of hours.
Climb all the way to the base of the lighthouse for the best views! See the little people in the picture above!?
